Fast Fix Scaffoldings total commitment
to having their workforce trained to the highest
level has been paramount since their formation in
2000. All of the companies operatives hold current
CSCS cards and are CITB registered with CISRS cards.
Each employee has his own portfolio of evidence,
which are continually added to and updated to demonstrate
and monitor each operatives continuous improvement
and current level of competence. By the implementation
of this system, Fast Fix is able to identify each
employees specific training requirements and need
to carry out more complex structures in order to
advance their individual level of skill.
With the desire to have such a highly trained and
skilled workforce in the specific use of this modular
system scaffold, came the need to expand the business
premises in order to accommodate the training. With
this in mind, the company moved to its present headquarters
in Horley near Gatwick airport, where they now boast
their own fully equipped training centre. This includes
a training classroom with state of the art facilities,
and a large open warehouse so that practical training
and advanced methods can be taught, even in the
most adverse weather conditions. Off the back of
these exceptional facilities, Fast Fix set up a
bespoke training company with a view to offering
training to others willing to advance their workforces
technical competence. They are now able to offer
various training courses in such things as PASMA,
Ladder Association Training, Working at Height etc.
